Installation is approximately 2 m wide and 3 meters high, made with found and donated materials.
EVA build a Meteorite Viewer, made with found and donated materials. The installation asks the viewer to sit down, take a moment and eccape from the daily routine, scouring the sky for a coming meteorite. The Meteorite Viewer is build on a parking site which is transformed into a public artspace on the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. The initiative is called 'De Heg' and organized by Naomi Jansen. The 3 meters high viewer looms over the hedge and invites you to take a seat and temporarily be co-responsible for detecting impending doom. This project is the beginning of a year filled with multiple projects around 'the end of the world'.
