Catapult Chair consists of 2 cinema seats placed directly opposite each other. On one side, a projectile can be fired with a catapult. On the other side is the receiver. A red screen stops the projectile, but not the fright. With the installation Eva explores the idea of cinematic tension. With that, she also reminds us of the origins of cinema, when, at the screening of L'arrivée d'un train à La Ciotat by the Lumière brothers, filmgoers famously ran away from the approaching train on the big screen.
