In 2009 I went with 10 friends in 2 cars to the Biennale in Venice, and on the way back I crashed our Opel into a concrete block at an exit on the german highway. Not 1 time, but 2 times in one night.

The Car-Wreck is a performative installation that resonates the Venice accident. People were invited to talk for 30 minutes about emergencies they experienced. During this talk they faced a car that was smashed in, baring the same license plate, NV-HB-87. Coming from the broken windows a constantly blown up airbag resonated the moment of impact.
